Hospitality Industry

Welcome to LodgingGuide's hospitality industry listings for the Rochester, New York area.

Rochester is proud to have been the symbolic beginning of the women's rights movement, where the Declaration of Sentiments was written, Susan B. Anthony lived and was arrested for voting, and many historic houses and other landmarks from those days have been preserved. Rochester is also a relatively well managed, computer literate and high-tech town, is the third largest city in New York, and has the nickname of World's Image Center, because of Kodak's beginnings here and because it is still an educational and commercial leader in the fields of optics, xerography and photography, as well as one of more naturally beautiful areas in the country that begs to be explored, admired and photographed. Just across Lake Ontario from Canada, the Erie Canal, Irondequoit Bay, Genessee River's falls, countless smaller bodies of water of all types, and the proximity to the fertile Finger Lakes wine region give Rochester many beautiful alternatives for swimming, fishing, sailing, canoeing, or just sightseeing from a cruise ship or charter fishing boat. Rochester also has 11,000 acres of municipal parks, which include beaches, a boardwalk and amusement area, the Seneca Park Zoo and gardens of lilacs and roses.
